Life Is A Journey

Life wasn’t meant to be this way. We wake up every morning and try to get through it just to go to bed and wake up again the next day. Is that what we’re thinking? Is that what we want? I’m not sure, actually I’m sure it’s not what we want at all. Yet it’s what we do. We are here to figure things out and try to attempt new things meeting new people. That’s what life is about I think? I guess? Either way, here we are. Now, if we wanted to do something a little different, we could. Life could be much different than it currently is. But, we have to accept that it could be different. Either way? It won’t be useful to any of us until we decide that is what we want. But what do we want for real now? I mean, we could guess all day long what we want, but we cannot fully express ourselves for some reason. Does it matter? I’m not sure. Everyone Dies

Oh you know how it goes, everyone dies. Not everyone has a death wish mind you, but everyone ceases to exist at one point or another in this life. It’s nothing that can be stopped. Your time will come. Everyone’s time will come eventually. So, what can we do with that knowledge?

Well, we can live life to its fullest. While we’re alive, we can simply make this life to the best of our ability. That’s all which is required of us. Nothing more, nothing less. So let’s make the best of our lives while we have the chance to. Sound good to you? Yeah, I thought it might.

Allow this life to take its course, no matter where it will take you. I mean the choice is up to you, it always has been. Seems like a joke doesn’t it? Well, I’m here to promise you that it’s not a joke. Whatever happens in this life will happen whether we want it to or not. I think that’s the greatest secret in life.

No matter what we want to happen, life will always take a turn one way or the other. It could turn out good or it could go sideways and be bad. Are we really prepared for whatever happens? There are days where I don’t think we are. But there’s nothing stopping it from happening anyway.

Whatever will happen, will happen. There’s no going back now. Just accept it and continue on with your life the way it was meant to be lived. You can’t change the past. The future is a mystery. Live in the moment. Live in the now. For when the grim reaper comes, we can’t say no to him.

Didn't Sleep

 What's the point of sleep anymore if I can't sleep? I don't think I slept any good last night. I was awake at 3 am wondering to myself, what on earth am I doing awake? Yeah, that happened. It doesn't make any sense. Fortunately, it's the weekend. So, I can catch up on sleep tonight. I don't have to be anywhere tomorrow, so it's a good opportunity to actually sleep for once. Temptation Bible vs Book of Mormon

In the Bible in 1 Corinthians 10:13 we find: There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able ; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. But what might seem as a contradiction is found in Alma 13:28 But that ye would humble yourselves before the Lord, and call on his holy name, and watch and pray continually, that ye may not be tempted above that which ye can bear , and thus be led by the Holy Spirit, becoming humble, meek, submissive, patient, full of love and all long-suffering; So, which is it? Either God tempts you to a point and stops, or you have to actively pray not to be tempted beyond that no return point. Which is it?

An Opposition In All Things

Long has been the story told about how there must be an opposition in all things. From the pre-existence there was Satan, Lucifer the Son of the Morning. In the beginning we were with God in his presence. We learned all we could while there. Until the moment we couldn’t progress any more, we were unable to become like God. So, we were given the opportunity to come to Earth to gain a body. A Savior would be provided to atone for our sins enabling us to come back to the presence of God. The idea that an opposition must be in all things comes from 2nd Nephi: For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things. If not so, my firstborn in the wilderness, righteousness could not be brought to pass, neither wickedness, neither holiness nor misery, neither good nor bad. Wherefore, all things must needs be a compound in one; wherefore, if it should be one body it must needs remain as dead, having no life neither death, nor corruption nor incorruption, happiness nor misery, neither...
