Today Is A Day

Thu Jun 11 11:18:25 AM MDT 2026 Let’s talk about what today is. Today is a rather ungrateful day. It’s a Thursday, so that’s got to mean something. Of course I thought yesterday was Thursday. Such a bummer. I’m freezing today. I don’t know how hot it’s supposed to get outside? But I feel cold. I don’t usually feel cold in the summertime. I hope I’m not getting sick or coming down with something. I’m sitting in my office and I have my minky on my lap because I’m freezing! Sami’s friend dropped off some chairs so we have a place to sit now. They’re nice oversized comfy chairs too! Only cost her eight dollars, so that’s what we paid for them. It feels good to have a place to sit in while writing or watching TV again. Talk about a good thing to have around. Last night, I had some crazy thoughts. Typical “life is a simulation” thought process. I don’t know why I am having these thoughts. They seem to come out of nowhere. It just happens to be that way though. I’m not crazy, sure I’ve be...

General Conference

The LDS Church held its General Conference yesterday and today. I watch from time to time to see what's going on just out of curiosity. Nothing really to note this time around. Just that there isn't a current prophet leading the church as the last one just died. They'll call another one soon I'm sure, that's what they usually do. I felt some emotion as I watched but didn't really feel the spirit. Maybe I'm just too far gone to feel any such thing anymore. Who knows. I sure don't.

Tomorrow Is Another Day

So the weekend comes to an end. Good things were learned, hopefully remembered over the course of this weekend as General Conference came to a close. I?m always excited for General Conference. It feels like it just goes too quickly some years. Before long it's over. Good learning experiences were had for sure. I?ll have to download the messages to read over to catch things that I may or may not have missed.

General Conference

Yay... Love General Conference. It's like having church at home... or well something like that. heh I rather enjoy it. Love listening to a Prophet of God speak and guide. The music is also good... but yeah the talks are the best.
