Blast From The Past: January 7, 2020

Tue Jan 7 19:39:37 MST 2020 Let’s talk about today than shall we? I’d like to think it would be a nice moment in time if we could simply get along with everything that happens in this life, yet I doubt it will. It’s a shame if you think about it. A real shame. But what are you going to do with any of it? No one knows exactly. So here we sit waiting for something better to come along, hoping for something to happen and allowing us to actually see what is real and what isn’t.

Farscape Peacekeeper Wars

 So I finally finished watching Farscape. The end of season 4 was like, WOAH!!! How could they do that to them??? Then I watched the Peacekeeper Wars two part movie. It wrapped up the series nicely. Granted the show could have lasted for more years to come, but it didn't. Oh well, what can you do? The show's been over for how many years now? It was a good run.

Jessica stood on the dock. She enjoyed watching boats come in and out of port. She felt the need to feel the fresh air on her face. It was something Jessica did to calm herself before a big assignment. Jessica was in advertising, and her latest pitch was to a car manufacturing company. She didn’t feel ready for such a big project, but knew she could make it work. Walking along the dock, Jessica admired the boats moored to the pier. She wouldn’t ever step foot on one of the boats, that was out of her range of comfort. No, she would simply look at them and admire them from afar. “Life seems a bit simpler out here, doesn’t it.” A woman’s voice said from behind. Jessica turned to see a woman standing there on the dock with her. She was dressed in a wetsuit like she had just gotten off a jet ski. “Excuse me?” Jessica asked. The New Year

 Yeah I know I'm a day late. But it's the new year. Some people make new years resolutions. I prefer to make goals. That way if you fail to do your goal, it's not like a whole new year is going down hill and crashing and burning. I always tend to ruin my new years resolutions. Sometimes even on the first day of the year. So I'd rather make goals instead. So that's just life in a nutshell. So make goals for this year. Not resolutions. I'd rather not think about everything that happens during a new year though. It can get depressing, that's for sure. So in order to not be depressed, it's time to bring out the good vibes and make everything just happy again. This year is  that  year.
