What Is It About Life?

Will the Real McCoy stand up please? We have to be able to have a consensus about this life, we can't allow it to simply be and then allow it to become whatever it wants to be because it can't determine what's going on. Does that make sense? I'm not sure it does...but if it did, then I'd allow it to happen. Life has to find a way to become what it needs to become, not what it wants to become...but what it needs to become. Life will eventually get there, but not until it finds a way to make it so we all understand what's happening with everything that goes on in this life. Don't allow life to overthrow itself. You'll regret it, every step of the way.

Visual Hallucinations

There are times when you see things that aren't there. They don't exist. I know it sounds like something straight out of wonderland or some other book. But it's not. It's actually a real thing.

For example, during one of my hospital stays, I watched a nun walk into my room. I followed her. Entering my room she saw me and said she was sorry and promptly left. I tried to follow her but she disappeared. I couldn't find where she went. I later found out that no nuns worked at the hospital, it wasn't that kind of facility. This has since changed, as the hospital has taken on a very religious kind of name.

I wonder why I saw a nun. Was there a reason behind it all? I don't know. It could have easily just been a coincidence. Whatever my mind decides to come up with, well I don't have much control over that now do I? No, I didn't think so.

Another visual hallucination I had was of a kid wearing a red sweater. It was like what you would see right out of Little Red Riding Hood. At least it felt like it. It was so odd, just so very odd. The kid was standing by the window. It was Christmas time. She ended up levitating an ornament from the window. At least that's what I saw. Who knows if it really happened or not.

Then there was the little boy wearing jeans and a yellow shirt. I asked when uncle and aunt so and so had kids, and I was told they didn't have any. But I saw the boy. yeah he wasn't actually there for some reason. Just another hallucination.

Temptation Bible vs Book of Mormon

In the Bible in 1 Corinthians 10:13 we find: There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able ; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. But what might seem as a contradiction is found in Alma 13:28 But that ye would humble yourselves before the Lord, and call on his holy name, and watch and pray continually, that ye may not be tempted above that which ye can bear , and thus be led by the Holy Spirit, becoming humble, meek, submissive, patient, full of love and all long-suffering; So, which is it? Either God tempts you to a point and stops, or you have to actively pray not to be tempted beyond that no return point. Which is it?

Didn't Sleep

What's the point of sleep anymore if I can't sleep? I don't think I slept any good last night. I was awake at 3 am wondering to myself, what on earth am I doing awake? Yeah, that happened. It doesn't make any sense. Fortunately, it's the weekend. So, I can catch up on sleep tonight. I don't have to be anywhere tomorrow, so it's a good opportunity to actually sleep for once. Whatever the case, I hope I'll be able to fall asleep and stay asleep. We will see what happens.

An Opposition In All Things

Long has been the story told about how there must be an opposition in all things. From the pre-existence there was Satan, Lucifer the Son of the Morning. In the beginning we were with God in his presence. We learned all we could while there. Until the moment we couldn’t progress any more, we were unable to become like God. So, we were given the opportunity to come to Earth to gain a body. A Savior would be provided to atone for our sins enabling us to come back to the presence of God. The idea that an opposition must be in all things comes from 2nd Nephi: For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things. If not so, my firstborn in the wilderness, righteousness could not be brought to pass, neither wickedness, neither holiness nor misery, neither good nor bad. Wherefore, all things must needs be a compound in one; wherefore, if it should be one body it must needs remain as dead, having no life neither death, nor corruption nor incorruption, happiness nor misery, neither...
