It's Life, What More Do You Want?

This life is here for a reason, we don’t have to say exactly what that reason is, we just have to believe in it no matter what happens in this life, we have to understand one thing. That thing is that we are not alone in the universe. I’m not saying there are aliens out there, but yeah there are aliens out there. It’s a concept that people have wondered about from time to time, there doesn’t appear to be anything else you can do but wonder what’s going on in the skies above us! There are so many things in this life that don’t always seem to matter, but you wish they would, at least that’s what I’d like to think would happen. I’m not sure that’s how this life is meant to be understood of course. If there’s anything in this life that doesn’t make sense, then it will always be there. It doesn’t have to make sense, that’s the absurdity of it all! Why should it make sense if there’s nothing to grasp from it all? I’m not sure I know the ansewr to that question. Sleeping is Weird

 I mean whoever thought sleeping would be a good thing was kind of a goofball. Sleeping for eight hours just to get up and do it all again. Whatever your daily mundane routine is, you get up and do it. There doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason to it. I go to bed knowing what's coming the next morning. Get up, brush my teeth, get dressed. Shower if I feel good enough to do so. It all gets repetitive. But it is what it is I suppose. You have to do it in order for the day to get started. I mean I guess you could just sleep through the whole day, but that wouldn't accomplish anything now would it. No, I didn't think so.

But we have to sleep in order to get through the night. Nothing good can happen if we don't get the right amount of sleep. Staying up late can be a bad thing as it hampers on the number of hours of sleep we get. Plus, we can wake up groggy the next morning due to lack of sleep. Personally, I would enjoy it if we didn't have to sleep. How much better would that be, huh? Imagine it, no sleep. You could stay up for days without end catching up on whatever it is you weren't able to finish during the day.

Didn't Sleep

 What's the point of sleep anymore if I can't sleep? I don't think I slept any good last night. I was awake at 3 am wondering to myself, what on earth am I doing awake? Yeah, that happened. It doesn't make any sense. Fortunately, it's the weekend. So, I can catch up on sleep tonight. I don't have to be anywhere tomorrow, so it's a good opportunity to actually sleep for once. Whatever the case, I hope I'll be able to fall asleep and stay asleep. We will see what happens.

An Opposition In All Things

Long has been the story told about how there must be an opposition in all things. From the pre-existence there was Satan, Lucifer the Son of the Morning. In the beginning we were with God in his presence. We learned all we could while there. Until the moment we couldn’t progress any more, we were unable to become like God. So, we were given the opportunity to come to Earth to gain a body. A Savior would be provided to atone for our sins enabling us to come back to the presence of God. The idea that an opposition must be in all things comes from 2nd Nephi: For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things.
