Suicide

Overthinking finds me in an impossible situation. But that’s life for the most part. Whatever happens in life will happen. We really don’t have a say in much of it. I suppose that’s life in a nutshell now isn’t it? It would be better if I understood all there was to comprehend from life. If only there was a way to accomplish all of that. The mind can be a badly diseased factory at times. Talk about a nightmare. Let’s talk about today for a moment. I’m depressed today. The problem isn’t being depressed. The problem is I don’t know how I got here. When I get depressed, I become suicidal. Now that isn’t something to be proud of. But I can’t seem to escape it. Suicide

Overthinking finds me in an impossible situation. But that’s life for the most part. Whatever happens in life will happen. We really don’t have a say in much of it. I suppose that’s life in a nutshell now isn’t it? It would be better if I understood all there was to comprehend from life. If only there was a way to accomplish all of that.

When I get depressed, I become suicidal. Now that isn’t something to be proud of. But I can’t seem to escape it. Have you ever wondered about all the different ways to die? It’s an interesting, if futile, exercise.

  1. Drowning
  2. Hanging
  3. Stabbing
  4. Slit my throat
  5. Slit my wrists
  6. Light myself on fire
  7. Suffocation

Yeah those are a few items to consider at times. I wish I could just die at times. It doesn’t have to be a bad thing mind you. Death is a natural part of this life. Some just happen without warning. There’s no going back from such an event. Death is rather permanent. It is also inevitable. That’s just how life works.

No one needs to capture life in a bottle, not when they want it to end.

Suicide was once thought to be a sin since it was a person ending their own life instead of allowing God to do it for them. To be honest, I don’t know if that’s still the case. The scourge is real because of what has been said in the past.

Oh life, what are you going to do with me? I wish I had some sort of clue. But I don’t, so what’s meant to happen in this life?

Someone give me an answer. Please.

 What's the point of sleep anymore if I can't sleep? I don't think I slept any good last night. I was awake at 3 am wondering to myself, what on earth am I doing awake? Yeah, that happened. In the Bible in 1 Corinthians 10:13 we find: There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able ; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. But what might seem as a contradiction is found in Alma 13:28 But that ye would humble yourselves before the Lord, and call on his holy name, and watch and pray continually, that ye may not be tempted above that which ye can bear , and thus be led by the Holy Spirit, becoming humble, meek, submissive, patient, full of love and all long-suffering; So, which is it? Either God tempts you to a point and stops, or you have to actively pray not to be tempted beyond that no return point. Which is it?

An Opposition In All Things

Long has been the story told about how there must be an opposition in all things. From the pre-existence there was Satan, Lucifer the Son of the Morning. In the beginning we were with God in his presence. We learned all we could while there. Until the moment we couldn’t progress any more, we were unable to become like God. So, we were given the opportunity to come to Earth to gain a body. A Savior would be provided to atone for our sins enabling us to come back to the presence of God. The idea that an opposition must be in all things comes from 2nd Nephi: For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things. If not so, my firstborn in the wilderness, righteousness could not be brought to pass, neither wickedness, neither holiness nor misery, neither good nor bad.
