Why Must Life Be Difficult?

I often wonder why this life must be so difficult, I don’t quite understand it at times, I mean we’re here right? So that must mean something , but I’m not sure I understand what that something is? If that makes sense. I wish I had a clue what to do about it. I mean, come on, there’s got to be a way to get through this life without us constantly going to war with each other. Whatever the problem is in life, we have got to find out a way to get past it. It’s got to be made manifest in some shape or form. I do not understand why this life has to be the way it is, it feels so different than anything else in this universe, at least to me it does. Maybe I’m not making much sense, but I do know this. If we don’t grasp life and understand it, we will be left with nothing. Do we want to be left with nothing? I’m not sure we do. If we are left with nothing, what’s the purpose of this life? Only Through Christ Are We Saved

It is only through Jesus Christ that we are saved. It says so in the bible:

"'And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.' Thomas said to him, 'Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?' Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” (John 14)

I want to say it first began in High School when I thought I was trying to beat the devil. Now when I say I was "trying to beat the devil", I mean I actually thought I was hearing the devil speak to me at night and that I had to find some way to overcome him. Didn't Sleep

 What's the point of sleep anymore if I can't sleep? I don't think I slept any good last night. I was awake at 3 am wondering to myself, what on earth am I doing awake? Yeah, that happened. It doesn't make any sense. Fortunately, it's the weekend. So, I can catch up on sleep tonight. I don't have to be anywhere tomorrow, so it's a good opportunity to actually sleep for once. Whatever the case, I hope I'll be able to fall asleep and stay asleep. We will see what happens.

Temptation Bible vs Book of Mormon

In the Bible in 1 Corinthians 10:13 we find: There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able ; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. But what might seem as a contradiction is found in Alma 13:28 But that ye would humble yourselves before the Lord, and call on his holy name, and watch and pray continually, that ye may not be tempted above that which ye can bear , and thus be led by the Holy Spirit, becoming humble, meek, submissive, patient, full of love and all long-suffering; So, which is it? Either God tempts you to a point and stops, or you have to actively pray not to be tempted beyond that no return point. Which is it?
