It's Life, What More Do You Want?

This life is here for a reason, we don’t have to say exactly what that reason is, we just have to believe in it no matter what happens in this life, we have to understand one thing. That thing is that we are not alone in the universe. I’m not saying there are aliens out there, but yeah there are aliens out there. It’s a concept that people have wondered about from time to time, there doesn’t appear to be anything else you can do but wonder what’s going on in the skies above us! There are so many things in this life that don’t always seem to matter, but you wish they would, at least that’s what I’d like to think would happen. I’m not sure that’s how this life is meant to be understood of course. If there’s anything in this life that doesn’t make sense, then it will always be there. It doesn’t have to make sense, that’s the absurdity of it all! Why should it make sense if there’s nothing to grasp from it all? I’m not sure I know the ansewr to that question. The Random That Was 2009

With 2009 done and gone... here are a few ideas and thoughts from it.

1. I'm married to the most wonderful woman of the world!!!!!!
2. Life is good
3. Car Accidents suck
4. Insurance increasing because of Car Accidents suck
5. Driving is a waste of time, come on teleportation
6. Facebook is a waste of time, yet I still login and post shit
7. Twitter is another waste of time, yet I still login and post shit
8. Blogging is a waste of time, yet I still login and post shit...

Erm... this is starting to get repetitive... oh well

9. I drank a lot of pop in 2009, probably won't stop in 2010
10. New cellphones are wonderful
11. Owning your own home is both wonderful and scary
12. Married a year with still no arguing... rocks
13. Arby's Value Drink from their Value Menu is small (16 oz)

Yeah, 13 items ... yeah that's good enough for now. I'm sure I'll come up with more in the future.

Didn't Sleep

 What's the point of sleep anymore if I can't sleep? I don't think I slept any good last night. I was awake at 3 am wondering to myself, what on earth am I doing awake? Yeah, that happened. It doesn't make any sense. Fortunately, it's the weekend. So, I can catch up on sleep tonight. I don't have to be anywhere tomorrow, so it's a good opportunity to actually sleep for once. Whatever the case, I hope I'll be able to fall asleep and stay asleep. We will see what happens.

An Opposition In All Things

Long has been the story told about how there must be an opposition in all things. From the pre-existence there was Satan, Lucifer the Son of the Morning. In the beginning we were with God in his presence. We learned all we could while there. Until the moment we couldn’t progress any more, we were unable to become like God. So, we were given the opportunity to come to Earth to gain a body. A Savior would be provided to atone for our sins enabling us to come back to the presence of God. The idea that an opposition must be in all things comes from 2nd Nephi: For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things. If not so, my firstborn in the wilderness, righteousness could not be brought to pass, neither wickedness, neither holiness nor misery, neither good nor bad.
