Friday's Come So Slow...

Fri Jun 12 09:10:21 AM MDT 2026 Today is Friday! (Friyay!) But it feels like they come so slow. It’s sad when you look forward to the weekend. I’m not sure how that ever came on the radar, but that’s what this life feels like at times. I wish I didn’t feel this way most weeks, but that’s how I feel. It would be nice to be able to get over whatever is causing this, but what am I going to do about it? So many questions that don’t have a way of making sense. There is never a way to make sense of it all I suppose, that’s what this life is all about. If I had a way to make the future possible? I would so be on that. I’m not sure how that works though. There needs to be a way to make this life manageable. I doubt there seems to be a way to overcome anything. So many possibilities and thought processes out there, I doubt there is a way to overcome a lot in this life. Winkie Meets Some Gummy Bears

Winkie, the red fruity dino, walked through the living room this morning. I watched as he made his way past Peach's writing desk and Sock's play area to the kitchen.

By the time I got to the kitchen, he was starting at a pack of gummy bears. Winkie didn't understand why they weren't talking to him.

No matter what he tried, they just sat there motionless in their little package.

I tried to explain that they were just food, snacks to be chewed on... but he didn't understand.

Opening the package, I took out a gummy bear and popped its head off. That was a mistake. Winkie about went nuts.

Running into a wall he passed out.

I think I'll have to try and explain this to him another time.

Didn't Sleep

 What's the point of sleep anymore if I can't sleep? I don't think I slept any good last night. I was awake at 3 am wondering to myself, what on earth am I doing awake? Yeah, that happened. It doesn't make any sense. Fortunately, it's the weekend. So, I can catch up on sleep tonight. I don't have to be anywhere tomorrow, so it's a good opportunity to actually sleep for once. Whatever the case, I hope I'll be able to fall asleep and stay asleep. We will see what happens.

An Opposition In All Things

Long has been the story told about how there must be an opposition in all things. From the pre-existence there was Satan, Lucifer the Son of the Morning. In the beginning we were with God in his presence. We learned all we could while there. Until the moment we couldn’t progress any more, we were unable to become like God. So, we were given the opportunity to come to Earth to gain a body. A Savior would be provided to atone for our sins enabling us to come back to the presence of God.
